Insurance
At Simcoe Dental Implants, we understand that the cost of care can sometimes be confusing. Our treatment coordinators are here to help.
We provide up-front cost information for your treatment ahead of time and are happy to assist you in navigating your dental benefits and exploring alternative payment options.
To accomplish this, we work with you to maximize your dental benefits reimbursement for covered procedures. If you have any problems or questions, please speak with our staff—they are well-informed and up to date.
Below is a list of insurance plans we accept:
– All major employer insurance plans
– Union plans
– Government assistance plans such as the Canadian Dental Plan, Ontario Works, ODSP, Healthy Smiles, and First Nations programs
Please call 905-936-4663 if you have any questions or concerns regarding your initial visit.
Financing Policy
At Simcoe Dental Implants, we accept most dental insurance plans, including the Canadian Dental Plan. Please be aware that your dental insurance may be limited and designed to cover only a portion of treatment costs. This is especially true for full-mouth reconstructions. Dental insurance is not—and never has been—a guideline for quality or effective care.
Your doctor will create a treatment plan that he or she feels is in the best interest of your health and will review it with you prior to beginning any procedure.
Please provide the details of your insurance plan prior to your visit so our staff can maximize your benefits. This will save time and allow us to help process claims and verify any co-payments due at the time of your visit. Without accurate insurance information, you are responsible for all treatment costs.
We are committed to delivering the highest quality care at the most reasonable cost to our patients. Our staff submits all treatment claims to your insurance provider electronically.
Please remember that all insurance plans differ. Our front desk staff will gladly answer any questions you may have regarding insurance.
We Accept:
- Cash or Check: Personal check, cashier’s check, or cash
- Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, or American Express
- Interac: Direct payment
- Extended Payment Plans: Speak with our financial coordinator today!
Most insurance companies respond within four to six weeks. Any outstanding costs or co-pays will be sent to you in the form of a statement. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your dental benefits payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility.
