Your First Dental Implant Consultation in Tottenham

Your first visit to Simcoe Dental Implants is a no-pressure consultation designed to give you a clear, honest picture of your options—and a detailed treatment plan tailored to your specific situation. Whether you are missing one tooth or considering a full-arch restoration, we will walk you through everything you need to know before making any decisions.

We welcome patients from Tottenham, Alliston, Barrie, Bradford, Innisfil, Orangeville, and throughout Simcoe County. Many patients have already been seen by other providers and come to us for a second opinion on complex or previously declined cases—we specialize in exactly these situations.

What Happens at Your First Appointment?

Your initial consultation typically takes 60–90 minutes and includes the following steps:

1. Comprehensive Oral Examination
Dr. Filo will review your dental and medical history, examine your teeth, gums, and bite, and assess the overall health of your oral structures. He will ask about your goals, concerns, and any previous dental work.

2. In-House CBCT 3D Imaging
Our clinic is equipped with a Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scanner that produces detailed three-dimensional images of your jaw, bone density, nerve locations, and sinus proximity. This scan takes just minutes and is painless—but it gives Dr. Filo the precise data needed to plan your treatment accurately and safely.

3. Personalized Treatment Planning
Using the CBCT data and examination findings, Dr. Filo will develop a customized treatment plan. He will explain every step in clear, plain language—what procedures are recommended, in what order, and why. He will discuss all available options, including single implants, All-on-4, All-on-6, full arch restoration, implant supported dentures, or full mouth reconstruction—and help you understand which approach best fits your clinical needs, lifestyle, and budget.

4. Transparent Cost Estimate
You will receive a clear, itemized estimate of the cost of your recommended treatment. We do not believe in hidden fees or vague pricing. If you have dental insurance, our team will help you understand what your plan covers and will assist with pre-authorization. We also offer flexible payment options to help make treatment accessible.

5. Your Questions Answered
Dr. Filo takes time at every consultation to answer your questions thoroughly. There is no rush. If you would like to review our Dental Implant FAQ before your visit, it covers the questions our patients ask most often—including candidacy, recovery, longevity, and cost.

What Should I Bring to My First Visit?

  • A list of any current medications and medical conditions
  • Your dental insurance card (if applicable)
  • Any previous dental X-rays or records if available (though not required—we will take our own imaging)
  • A list of questions you would like answered

Is the Consultation Free?

Yes. Your initial implant consultation at Simcoe Dental Implants—including the CBCT scan and treatment planning—is provided at no charge. We believe that every patient deserves access to accurate information before committing to treatment.

What If I Am Nervous About the Procedure?

Dental anxiety is extremely common, and we take it seriously. At Simcoe Dental Implants, we offer IV sedation and general anesthesia so that nervous patients can sleep comfortably through their entire procedure. During your consultation, let Dr. Filo know about any concerns—we will tailor your care accordingly.
